Monsoon Volleyball. Developing athletes for more than 10 years.

Monsoon originated in the 2002-2003 club season in Portola Valley.  It was established to provide exceptional coaching to junior volleyball athletes by a coaching staff that is passionate about the sport of volleyball and equally enthusiastic about working with junior athletes.  Today, Monsoon is located in Redwood City in their own state-of-the-art 45,000 square foot training facility.  We provide an environment that is unlike any other club environment in the area.  With six regulation size courts, a performance center, physical therapy and athletic training clinic and academic resource center, we focus on the development of the entire athlete.

Monsoon Volleyball participates in the NCVA Area League in addition to local larger tournaments as well as the Far Western tournament in Reno, Nevada.  Travel is limited to local tournaments as well as a Reno tournament in April.

Monsoon is considered a “Hybrid Area” club.  A hybrid area team will compete in the Area League and also add local tournaments outside of the league where they may experience more competition outside of the league.
